Findings. The results of this study supported this hypothesis. Pearson (r) correlation analysis revealed a significant relationship between these two variables at a p < 0.01 level. The significant correlation between these two variables suggests that the higher teachers perceive their sense of teaching efficacy, the higher they rate their levels of job satisfaction. The Pearson r2 value (.058) indicates that approximately six percent of the variability in teachers’ reported job satisfaction can be accounted for by their sense of teaching efficacy. Although this variation in job satisfaction can be accounted for by teaching efficacy, it should be noted that teaching efficacy does not necessarily cause the variation.
