nanorods gradually decreased towards the top end on
both substrates, i.e. from 400 to 250 nm for the Si and
from 800 to 500 nm for the sapphire as observed in the
corresponding figures. Table 1 shows the growth conditions
and the sizes of the grown ZnO nanorods. The
