On paper she may be just another K-pop fan, but Erin Miranda took one step closer to becoming an idol herself after her audition for "The X Factor Australia."
"I love K-pop a lot," said 15-year-old Erin Miranda before her audition. "I love Girls' Generation, EXO, Big Bang. I want to be next."

On her personal YouTube channel, the Australian singer has several covers of popular K-pop bands, including EXO and Hyuna.
For her audition on "The X Factor Australia," Miranda sang "And I'm Telling You (I'm Not Going)" by Jennifer Hudson, and received a standing ovation from the judges.
"We are looking for an international superstar, someone who could sell records around the world," said judge Ronan Keating. "I think we just found one."
"That music started...and you got your Sasha Fierce going on," added Natalie Bassingthwaighte. "I cannot wait to see what you do next."
Coincidentally, last year's winner of "The X Factor" in Australia, Dami Im, is also a fan of K-pop.
"I'm in love with K-pop music," said the 25-year-old South Korean-Australian prior to her first audition on the show last year. "I really wanted to sound like a good K-pop singer, but I realized that I wasn't a really good singer at all. But I think I can sing now."
After winning season five of "The X Factor," Dami became the first contestant from the Australian series to have a number one debut single and album.
Will Erin Miranda follow the footsteps of another K-pop fan on "The X Factor" this season?
