As Tony Anscombe, AVG's senior security evangelist, comments: "Despite their confidence, our research shows that parents clearly need help to stay ahead of how children are using the Internet." As part of its report, the company has drawn up a list of recommendations, to be presented on July 11 at the Child Internet Safety Summit, for an easy-to-use assessment for parents so that they too can understand the issues around online safety and the types of threats their children may face when logging on.
