o After the zygote is produced,it is released into the water and developes zoospore.
o The zoospore are similar to those created through asexual reproduction.
o Once the zoospore mature, the zygote splits open, releasing the zoospore.
o The zoospores then attach to the bottom of the sea.

o Oedogonium reproduces sexually by producing oogonia,which each contain a single large non_flagellate egg cell,are antheridia,which contain small sperm with multiple flagella.
o Some species produce dwarf male plant that grow near the oogonia.
