A Minolta Colorimeter (Konica Minolta Chroma meter CR-400/
410; Japan) was used to determine the color parameters under
the CIE Lab system (Abbott, 1999). In this system, L* is related to
lightness (0e100 scale, black to white); a* corresponds to red color
if it is positive and to green color if it is negative; and b* indicates a
yellow color if its value is positive and blue color if it is negative. For
each storage time, color parameters of two different positions of
pericarp of each fruit were measured. Ten replicates of each sample
were analyzed.
