A more general approach for reducing the ac
component of the converter output voltage is by phase
shifted paralleling of multiple converter modules. Several
publications have addressed this method in the past .
However, applying phase shifted paralleling to the LLC
converter topology, a balanced power distribution between
the single converter modules has to be ensured for proper power supply function. It is obvious, that unpredictable
component tolerances of the circuit elements cause more
or less unbalanced power distribution between the
paralleled converter modules.
