The extraction efficiency was studied using spiked water sam-ples for the recovery of rhodium. Natural water sample was spiked with known amounts of rhodium standards (15, 39 and 45 ng mL1) and allowed to stand over night. The concentration
of rhodium in spiked water samples was determined. The natural water samples filtered through a 0.45 l m pore size membrane filter to remove suspended particulate matter and then stored at 4.0 C in the dark. The final solution was determined by following the above general procedure.
