The staining ability of disperse dyes towards other fibres in washing liquor needs to be reduced. Although the thermomigrated dyes are dissolved or dispersed in the washing liquor if the dyes are easily hydrolysed and tuned into colourless compounds they do not cause any problem of staining other fibres at all. The example of this type of dye is benzodifuranone disperse dye, which is easily hydrolysed in weak alkaline aqueous solutions.
