16 Using a spanner, or a tommy bar, adjust the turnbuckle until it is under ten-
sion.
17 Release the pitch frame brakes by pulling on and moving the brake release
switch to the PITCH position.
18 Using a spanner, or a tommy bar, adjust the turnbuckle to right the pitch
frame to the point where the vertical alignment marks associated with the pitch frame, coincide. Then, using a spanner, lock the turnbuckle in place, by tightening the locking nuts at the ends of the turnbuckle, to prevent the turnbuckle from working loose
19 Apply the brakes again, by pulling on and moving the brake release switch
to the central position.
20 Close the cover over the brake release switch. Then fit and lock the pad-
lock, to hold the cover in place. Retain the padlock key for return to the mas-
ter key holder.
21 Release the antenna rotation lock.
22 Remove the circuit breaker cover from the front of the PMU.
23 At the PMU, switch off the three circuit breakers labelled "INPUT POWER",
and the three circuit breakers labelled "24 V PSU's". Ensure that all indica-
tors are off, except for the three indicators labelled "400V 3ุ INPUT".
CAUTION! DANGER OF DAMAGING THE SAP. DO NOT SWITCH ON THE
CIRCUIT BREAKERS ON THE PMU, WHEN THE MAN ALOFT
SWITCH IS SET TO THE OPERATIONAL POSITION.
24 Re-fit the cover over the circuit breakers, on the PMU.
25 Ensure that no persons are aloft, and when safe to do so, set the MAS to
the OPERATIONAL position.
