According to Dessler (1989), stimulation is one of the most complicated subjects of management because
something which has been a good reward for somebody and therefore a good stimulator in stimulating him might beconsidered very insignificant to another one, and hence, does not lead him in any action. On the other hand, one might be affected by several factors, not just one. Nevertheless, in spite of the complexity of stimulation, undoubtedly it is the basis of management. Managers' affairs and jobs are performed by people, and if they cannot provoke them to do their jobs, they will not be successful in their managerial function.
