Fig. 15 represent the comparison between the estimated
speed thanks to ( 13) and the measured one. Of course, the
sensor can only estimate the absolute value of the speed. The
experiment, under 35 rd/s, falls below the limit of 5g of the
ADIS16006 MEMS. Thus, the signal is unsaturated. The
speed inversion takes 100 ms and the sensor tracks the speed
accurately apart from the zero speed zone. In this region, the
estimated speed differs from actual value because of the low
normal acceleration components measured by the two
accelerometers.
