Table 4 shows the moisture content for cement panel. The highest percentage of moisture content (12.3 %) is given by the sample with 9 % treated coconut fiber. The lowest percentage of moisture content (4.7 %) is given by the sample without coconut fiber. Generally, moisture content in the cement panels with untreated coconut fiber is not much different, and it is also lower than sample with treated coconut fiber. It is expected that washing coconut fiber could reduce impurities and improve packing of coconut fiber in cement panel. Better packing will give higher density, reduce voids and increasing of moisture content.
