This article focuses on the move of libraries, bookstores, and businesses to gear up for The Year of the Young Reader campaign. The Year of the Young Reader is a nationwide campaign which focus attention on the importance of books and reading. To help promote the celebration, the American Library Association, Peaceable Kingdom Press, and KidStamps have produced materials for display and for distribution. A limited quantity of free four-color brochures with background information, activity ideas, and reproducible logos are available from Year of the Young Reader (YYR). Also available from YYR are logo buttons and a free Launch a Young Mind public service print advertisement in three camera-ready versions. Peaceable Kingdom is selling a poster by Jane Dyer, taken from Three Bears Rhyme Book by Jane Yolen. Costs of the logo buttons and the poster were given. Information on how to order YYR logo rubber stamp was provided.
