4.3.1. Interviews
Below only the general findings per country are reported.
In Denmark the interviewees without exception indicated that there is a problem with migrant workers4 and safety in the country. However, the nature and scale of the problem is far less clear. Part of the problem lies in the fact that much of the work that migrants car- ry out is not officially registered. There is a virtually unknown group of employees who participate informally in Danish economy and where serious violations of their occupational safety rights are prob- ably quite common. Because of this, it is difficult to provide focussed recommendations to improve their situation.
