The creation of social capital may be one of the important explicit aims of a given
heritage institution which consciously broadens its programme to include activities
which stimulate new encounters: clubs, discussions, special events, artistic workshops,
organized tours. They may have general character or be intended for specific social
groups such as families with children, whereby not only individual family members
benefit in educational terms and deepen their family relations (bonding capital) but
