When I was researching for both my booklet and posters for inspiration, I was able to gradually expose myself to new and interesting designers. Additionally, I was able to be exposed to more ideas and think differently; thinking outside the “box”. When I was doing the posters and booklet, I tried to view the brief differently and how to effectively demonstrate my designs and think about the impact it may provide. My design for my posters, I wanted them to challenge the reality of living together and how living together could imply sleeping under the same roof or even sharing the same block of land with homeless person. When I was research about Zanotto’s work, I wanted to create a similar essence of motion and 3D design through how I create the layout and designs in homage of his work.Ultimately, researching allows myself to be exposed to all kinds of ideas and designs challenging how I should approach future briefs and provide a creative solution.
