In the present study, the non-significant difference obtainedafter treatment between both groups may be due to more timewas needed for the study group before intervention to learnsome aquatic skills to decrease the effect of abnormal musclepatterns that restricts normal movement. This opinion agreeswith Roostaei et al (2017)9 who reported that participants maynot have had sufficient time to perform active movement andfunctional strengthening by restricting abnormal musclepatterns. This may have limited the carryover to land-basedmovement recorded on the GMFM.
