2. Material and methods
The rice hulls used were locally source from a rice milling plant
in the northern part of Nigeria. One was unparboiled rice hull
(URH) while the other was locally parboiled rice hull (PRH)
(unknown temperature and duration). The turbid water sample
used had pH of 6.63, TDS (127 ppm) and turbidity (88 NTU (Nephelometric
Turbidity Units))
