There is a need for further discussion and research to determine how nurse educators can better handle the problem of inappropriate objectivity and reliability of student's feedback and way that they can apply this to their teaching and learning without compromising there career. As mentioned previously, feedback might be unreliable and there are many contextual factors that impact on teachers and the quality of their teaching that are outside their control. In the interim, the the following tips provided by Thomson and Goldsworthy constitute sound general principles for obtaining student feedback.
