Facer [6] proposes technology to combine Wi-Fi and GPS
for teaching purposes by using the Augmented Reality
technology with African grasslands as background (2004).
Users simulate the role of a lion, by using the built-in GPSpositioning
function of the handheld PDA. The location with
accurate coordinates is sent back to the system. According to
the location of users, the system sends certain information and
related learning tasks or assignments including conducting
actions such as food hunting, attacks or hiding/crouching.
These activities allow users to learn about and understand the
habits of lions upgrading learning.
