Full Scale should always be based on at least five Verbal tests and four Performance test. It should be notef that the prorating is done to fine Verbal and Performance Scores separately; the Full Scale Score is never prorated. After the Verbal and Performance Scores are derived in this fashion, they are summed to yield the Full Scale as usual. Prorated scores should be labelled in the margin next to their appcarance in the Summary section of the Record Foru by the symbol PRO. Determining the IQs In order to convert Verbal, Performance, and Full Scale into Intelligence Quotients, Table 18 on pp. 78 to 97 is to be used. Table 18 actually consists of ten sets of tables, One for each agg group. The Verbal, Performnce, and Full Scale IQs may be obtained from facing pages so the examminer may determine all three IQs for a suject by consulting the set of tables for the suject's age group.
