There were no treatment effects on water consumption
the first 7 d after farrowing (d 0 to 7: ROOM: F2,25.6 =
1.3, P = 0.31; HEAT: F1,45.7 = 2.0, P = 0.17). During the
rest of the lactation period, the daily water consumption
developed differently between temperatures (P < 0.001;
Figure 2).
