To build the kind of global organization it needs, Pepsi co, the cola company, embraces the selection and development of leaders from many different cultures. its Executive Leadership Program was designed to develop leaders from all over the world. To design this program, an outside consultant and the management development staff compiled a list of 33 leadership practices that reflect the actions leaders and managers are expected to take in running their businesses. The company's top officers have their performance anonymously by their subordinates against these leadership practices.
