If defects are discovered in the design, materials or production of LINAK products within
18months of the delivery date, LINAK shall be free to choose to perform either re-delivery or
repair.
The customer shall complain immediately in writing with item No., OC No., production date,
and reason of return to LINAK. If LINAK agrees in writing, the defective products shall be
sent to LINAK’s factory (address and other contact details will be given by LINAK in each
case). Freight and insurance is to be paid by the sender, enclosing a report which is given by
LINAK for such return. Please note that only items which LINAK has agreed to take back
can be considered to be covered by the warranty.
If LINAK accepts that there are defects and the purchaser has complained in time, LINAK
shall dispatch the product after replacement or repair free of charge. LINAK shall reimburse
the purchaser for the freight costs incurred by the purchaser in sending the defective product
to LINAK’s place of business, but only if LINAK has approved in writing of the method of
dispatch and the costs incurred prior to the dispatch of products.
If LINAK does not accept to undertake repair or exchange under warranty, the actual costs
will be charged to the customer’s account.
LINAK will undertake a complete repair and only return those items which are repairable.
Non-repairable items will be scrapped.
