Dead by Daylight, this is a 4v1 multiplayer game where you play as either 1 of the 4 survivors in a desperate attempt to escape, or as the killer where your goal is to hunt them down and hang your victims as they get brutally sacrificed.
This is a very unique game that's very deserving on taking a peak at, you can compare this very lightly to a game like Evolve based on it's premise, though the major differences is that the 4 survivors do not communicate with each other, can not kill the killer, and you can easily lose track of the other survivors unless they have been grabbed by the killer, fell into a downed state or have been put on the hook.
What I'm really enjoying about this game over something like Evolve is that the game is always intense, surviving or killing is all down to how you play. I've found this game not all too stress so to speak over something like Evolve, mostly in regards to how you don't need to worry as much with if your team is bad or if they are in a pre-made vs the 1 monster, it offers a very different experience that is incredibly fun.
When you're playing as a survivor, your goal is to activate 5 generators which will power up the 2 exit switches, once the switch is up you will need to hold down the switch for a decent amount of time which will open up the gates, you will need to be careful as the killer will be alerted to when the generators are all activated as he will be checking around to see who's trying to escape.
The game has an amazing atmosphere for a multiplayer survival horror, the way is works is when the killer is within distance, your heart will start to beat, the closer he is the faster it will beat, when he gets within a closer distance you will hear some horror-like music start to play which also gets louder with the closer he is which just adds to the intensity of the game.
As a survivor you want to be as sneaky and crafty as possible, being able to juke out the killer or leap over certain walls and windows is your key to surviving, finding wooden panels in between rocks and dropping them down to create distance between you and the killer, but you still need to be careful as if you do it too much he may just set a bear trap over the other side.
If a fellow survivor gets caught, downed or hooked, you will need to make an attempt along with your other fellow survivors to rescue them, leaving them to die can be a bad idea as if you get caught then you may not have anyone that can help rescue you or heal you back up in case you have been hit later on, so playing smart and making the right decisions on how you go about everything is key.
The levels are also procedurally generated in regards to where key things are, such as the generators that the survivors needing to fix being the prime example, this makes each time you play feel different as you can't just plan out the same potential routes on where you want to go at the start because you also start the game in a random location along with the killer, so you will always be on edge when you're traversing the area.
