Following are guideline for swapping components • Between ETOPS aircraft and ETOPS aircraft - Part number of component has to be confirmed before swapping. - - - Intended component to be swapped have to be verified that there is no outstanding maintenance requirement and associated with any current known defect. Removal/Installation procedure must be strictly adhered to relevant AMM. For example: Pressure reducer (5044WM) which installed only on ETOPS aircraft. • Between ETOPS aircraft and Non-ETOPS aircraft - Only defected component from ETOPS aircraft can be swapped to Non-ETOPS aircraft. - - - - Only component that approved for ETOPS can be swapped. Intended component to be swapped have to be verified that there is no outstanding maintenance requirement and associated with any current known defect. Removal/Installation procedure must be strictly adhered to relevant AMM. For example: Defected ADIRU#1 of ETOPS aircraft can be swapped with ADIRU#1 of Non-ETOPS aircraft. • Swapping components between locations in one ETOPS aircraft is not allowed
