More than half of the machines in LPL and CL are
computer-controlled assemblies, and the designs of instructions
displayed on computer screens are required
to be simple and easy to understand. The required
skills for workers to diagnose and make decisions aim
to enhance performance of cognitive tasks by means
of several interventions. These interventions include
user-centered design of human–machine interaction
and human–computer interaction. These information
technology systems that support cognitive tasks required
good support of training programs and work
designs to manage cognitive workload and increase
human reliability.
