This paper presents design and development of an Acoustic Resonance Testing machine which is a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) and automated inspection system using Acoustic Resonance Testing (ART) principles. Increase the efficiency of the existing ART systems and testing of a wide range of test objects quickly .The machine is divided into three parts. The first part is hardware, designing the Hammer Tapping which solenoid theory to build. It uses solenoid and photo sensor to control it. When photo sensor can detect the products, it will send a signal to relay contactor then the Hammer Tapping works immediately. Microphone is need to record the tapping sound and transform to electronic signal for the computer. The second part the software is programmed with MATLAB. Which the FFT is applied to check and compare between the good product and detect product. When computer records the voice into time domain this function will change into frequency domain. Then, we can use the data from frequency domain graph to calculate. The last part is the conveyor that is designed to required and suitable velocity. The tapping device is installed and the system can be operated automatically.
