The intrinsic viscosity was calculated by interpolation using the USP table that lists the predetermined values of the product of intrinsic viscosity and concentration, (n C), for cellulose samples exhibiting relative viscosity (n) values between 1.1 and 9.9. gre was calculated using the relationship: n = t/t0, where t and t0 are the efflux times for the cellulose solution and Cuen (blank) solvent, respectively.
