If the offeree assent to the terms

If the offeree assent to the terms of the offer, an acceptance occurs and an agreement comes into existence. To illustrate, if one person say to another, "i'll sell you my car for $400" (the offer), and the other person replies, "i'll buy it" (the acceptance), the contract come into existence at the moment the words of acceptance are spoken.
