Job Description :-
• Supports process qualification activities and day-to-day production operations
• Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved processes which have significant impact potential. Maintains awareness of scientific opportunities and takes initiative to suggest/test ideas. Suggests changes or future direction as needed.
• Participates in project planning.
• Identifies, recommends, initiates, and implements programs in manufacturing area of responsibility to improve and/or enhance: (1) product cost, service, & quality and, (2) process safety and health/environmental impact. Develops extensive knowledge of statistical techniques for monitoring and improving manufacturing processes. Improves upon these skills through regular participation in appropriate activities.
• Establishes and cultivates a network of support to facilitate completion of assignments. Develops a knowledge and understanding of products, customers and customer needs of the division/staff organization.
• Contributes to the development of proprietary positions where appropriate, including trade secrets, records of invention and patents which have potential benefits to the department/division's business and lead to useable technology/science.
• Identifies and implements a comprehensive education plan to continually advance technical skills and personal development as well as enhancing organizational effectiveness. Establishes self as a resource within immediate work group.
• Provide appropriate and timely documentation of work as required by the business unit.
