It was composed of 12 items on age, gender, family history, smoking status, hyperlipida- emia, hypertension, lack of exercise, obesity, diabetes sta- tus, stress, alcohol consumption and dietary habits. The subjects responded ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ according to whether or not they were aware of their own risk factors. Researchers reviewed the medical records and marked ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ confirming the patients’ risk factors. In this study, risk factors related to lack of exercise, stress, drinking and diet were excluded because those factors were not confirmable through the medical record review
