The official website for the Kizumonogatari anime film trilogy began streaming a trailer on Wednesday for Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen (Passionate Blood), the trilogy's second film (Note: The video in the website is region-locked). The video confirms the film's August 19 opening, and reveals additional cast for the film.
The newly announced cast includes:

The first film in the trilogy, Kizumonogatari I: Tekketsu-hen (Iron and Blood), opened in Japanese theaters on January 8. Aniplex of America screened the film in select theaters in the United States from February to March.
Kizumonogatari is the third volume in NisiOisin's Monogatari book series and is a prequel to Bakemonogatari. It tells the story of how protagonist Koyomi encounters the female vampire that would turn him and his journey to return to his normal life. Vertical released the novel in English last year.
Akiyuki Simbo is once again credited as chief director at the anime studio SHAFT, and Tatsuya Oishi is the director. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka are designing the characters. Yota Tsuruoka is directing the sound, and Satoru Kousaki is composing the music.
