P. putida KT2442 and its phaZ knockout mutant P. putida
KTMQ01 were cultivated in shake flasks at 30 C for 48 h in mineral
salt (MS) medium (Qiu et al., 2004) placed on a rotating shaker
(NBS Series 25D, New Brunswick, USA) at 200 rpm. 5% (vol/vol)
overnight cultivated inoculum in LB medium was used as the seed
culture. For each condition, three parallel shake flasks were arranged.
