mri right knee
techniques, axial for cartilage image on TIW/3D/water sagittai on PD/TSE,T2W right knee were performed.
Sagittal ant axial for cartllage image on T1W/3D/water saturation ware obtained. Additional T2W and T2W/FS along ACL images were also done.
Findings: the anterior cruciate ligament is thickening with possibly low grade partial lear.
The posterior cruciate. Ligament shows buckling course with maintained its integrity.
Grade 2 injury with no contact to artocular surface of posterior horn of mediai meniscus is
Noted Lateral meniscus is unremarkabie.
Normal course and signal intersity of lateral and medial collateral figaments.
Theillotibial tract, quadriceps tendon ,patellar tendon ,popliteus tendon and biceps
Fernoris muscle and tendon are unremarkable. Minimal joint effusion is seen.
Medial plica without thickening is observed Minimal bone marrow edema of
Patellar surtace is seen. No fracture or disiocation is seen.
The cartilaginous structure on T1W/3D/Water saturation imeges shows mild
Degree Grade 1-2 cartilaginous defects of central region of patellar surface.
Grade 2-3 cartilaginous defects at patellar compartment invoiving central
Region of femoral trochlear surface about 12x18 mm.
IMPRESSION : injury with low grade partial tear of anterior cruciate ligament.
: Grade 2 injurywith no Gontact to artocular surface of posterior horn of
Medial meniscus.
: Minmal bone marrow edema of patellar surface.
: Mild degree grade 1-2 cartilaginous defects of central region of patellar surface.
: Grade 2-3 cartilaginous defects at patellar cornpartment involving central
Region of femoral trochlear surface about 12x18 mm.
: Minimal joint effusion.
: Clinical correlation is suggested.
