Good evening folks. Here is an updated look at the visible solar disk as we head into Thursday. Solar activity during the past 24 hours was low. A number of low level C-Flares were observed around newly assigned region 2493 in the southwest quadrant. This region, along with sunspot 2490 continued to show minor growth and will be monitored. A new sunspot is forming at middle latitude to the south of region 2491 and will likely be assigned a number by tomorrow morning. A coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed off the southwest limb and looks to be associated with farsided activity and is not Earth directed. Stay tuned to SolarHam.com for the latest data and imagery.
