Multi-entertainer Super Junior Kim Heechul is chosen for his first solo MCing in a Chinese variety program. Casting depended on background and future aspirations.
Kim Heechul will be MC in next year’s Chinese variety program that begins on 10th January. This is the first Chinese variety that Kim Heechul is in charge since his debut in Korean entertainment in 2005.
‘Walk along, you have me’ is a Korean-Chinese joint travel variety program, Kim Heechul and 3 Chinese couples will share experiences on the program.
At the filming on 27-29th November in Seoul, Kim Heechul told Star News “Very thankful for always receiving love from China fans, want to repay in ways other than music” “When I received news of this show, I felt this is a good opportunity to come to China often, very happy.”
Kim Heechul “Personally, I feel I don’t have many activities in China and I want to be more active there while I still can, I also want to have a small fanmeeting” “I think I have received a good opportunity”
Kim Heechul: Very lucky that since the first filming, the 3 couples liked me a lot so we did filming happily.
Kim Heechul: The 3 couples said “In China there’s no celebrity with your image” and SM staff replied “Even in Korea also don’t have”, creating laughter.
Kim Heechul “Even when we’re not filming, the 3 couples and I have fun. During breaks, staff say “We’re impressed learning a lot about Korean celebrities” “For future broadcasts, the 3 Chinese couples will still have fun filmings in Korea”
