The
DSSC based on PZnABIAACOOH dye shows a better comprehensive
properties with an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.49 V, a short-circuit
photocurrent density (Jsc) of 5.5 mA cm2, and a fill factor (ff)
of 0.65, corresponding to a solar-to-electricity conversion efficiency
(g) of 1.75% under AM 1.5 irradiation (100mWcm2), while
PZnACOOH sensitized one yields g = 1.06% with Voc = 0.40 V,
Jsc = 4.0 mA cm2, and ff = 0.66. It is easy to see that the Voc of PZn-
ACOOH dye is lower than that of PZnABIAACOOH which may be
explained by dark current voltage curves of DSSCs.
