Common Sense Learner JB (Type Three):
Life Span Motor Development
This three credit undergraduate class examines changes in
motor behavior across the lifespan, the processes that underlie
these changes, and the factors that affect them. A
senior-level course required by all physical education majors,
its emphasis is on the young learner, task analysis, and
developmentally appropriate instruction. A prerequisite for
this course is acceptance into the professional program for
teacher certification. Professor JB was in her sixth year of
teaching in higher education at the time of her participation
in this project.
