English Language Proficiency Development (ELPD) (15 points) ELPD is a project that aims to improve students’ language proficiency according to individual ability level. To accomplish this project, students need to follow these seven steps: ELPD – What You Must Do Step 1: All students take a placement test @ language labs (Week 3-4) Step 2: Download all documents from ODC: - Information Sheet - Portfolio Cover - Checklist - Tutorial Application Form - Self-study Materials Beginner Level (0-19 Points) Pre-intermediate Level (20-29 Points) Intermediate Level (30-40 Points) Step 3: Complete 4 self- study materials. Step 3: Complete 4 self-study materials. Step 3: Produce 1 piece of tutoring materials. Step 4: Join 1 tutoring Step 4: Join a teacher workshop or create your own Step 4: Give 2 tutoring sessions (Tutor) Step 5: All students take a progress test @ language labs (Week 10) Step 6: Portfolio submission (Week 14)
