2.7. Ethanol production with different substrate concentrations
Cassava pulp at concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, and 12%
was suspended in distiled water, and the pH of the suspension
was pre-adjusted to approximately 6.70. C. thermocellum and
T. aotearoense were inoculated into the media at the optimal ratio
with a total inoculum size of 10%, where the other conditions or
parameters were the same as described in Section 2.5, the process
of sequential co-culture of S. cerevisiae , sampling and analysis
were conducted in the same way as described in Section 2.4.
