meanings, i.e., all words about academic skills, or all words about business, are on
the same page. You can also organize the words by date, but then you must check
each list to make sure there are no repeated words.
If you do not like to use the computer, you can write your vocabulary list in a
notebook that you always have with you. This notebook should have a section
where you only keep vocabulary words, separate from your class notes or your
assignments. Use this space only for words and the list will grow as you do.
Reviewing this list is the next challenge. Every time you add 10 new words, review
the words that are already there. Use a paper to cover the definition and the sample
sentence. Then say the word aloud, and try to recall its definition or its sample
