We have stated to provide that evidence for Hatha Yoga, a potentially efficacious intervention to reverse symptom distress and resultant poor quality of life experienced by women post breast cancer treatment. This study examined the feasibility and usefulness of a gentle hatha yoga intervention for women who have been treated for breast cancer in the past but continue to suffer from poor quality of life. Our findings are consistent with existing literature reporting that women who have been treated for breast cancer continue to experience poor quality of life, even long after treatment . Further, this study is consistent with existing data reporting that women with breast cancer are interested in CAM therapies, including yoga. This study also shows that participants can safely complete the yoga classes and derive enjoyment from the activity.
