Current situation and trends in Thai local politics and government
After decentralisation was first introduced in Thailand in 1897 in response to the colonization of neighboring countries and later, the 1994 that TAO Act was required to complete the government's decentralization plan, there were not genuinely
decentralize or provide or result in the desired level of opportunities for the local people to participate.
These happened because of several things as described below.
