Introduction
In this activity you, will make a model showing the layers of the Earth.
Materials
Plasticine(yellow,orange and brown)
Method
1. Take a piece of yellow plasticine and rooll it into a ball about as big as a golf ball.
This will be the core.
2. Take a large piece of orange plasticine and shape it to a solid half circle shape.
Dig out a small hole in the centre to place the yellow core.
The orange plasticine is the mantle.
3.Take a piece of brown plasticine and roll it out to a thin flat sheet like a pizza.
Wrap it around the mantle.
The brown plasticine is the crust.
