The drying process was checked very carefully by weighing the trays several times in a day and the
samples were also stirred to provide aeration for uniform drying. For drying rate comparison, the
percentage dried was plotted against drying time for the samples. After reaching the desired dryness; the
trays were immediately removed and stored in a refrigerated store room. The kernel samples were obtained with 10%, 15% and 20% moisture content which were used to investigate the effect of moisture
content on bio-oil production.
