Over a thousand girls and boys are entered into the Human trafficking and slavery market every single day. Sometimes, it is not always forced labor, but voluntary. The purpose of this thesis is to present audiences with the opportunity to ponder and discuss the complexities of the human trafficking industry, particularly regarding those who volunteer in desperation. Furthermore, as it has been both philosophically theorized, religiously professed, and now scientifically proven that all of mankind is one genetic family, this thesis also seeks to motivate potential consumers of this multi-billion dollar industry to see their prospective purchases as family instead of product. In order to gain the desired impact required for the thesis, a short film will be made to assimilate true circumstances into a narrative manner, utilizing both professional filmmaking methodology and Regent redemptive philosophy to have a bearing on peccant audience members and consequent realignment of consumer’s values. The purpose of this thesis is to present those caught up in any sin’s con with the realization that their yearnings are misdirected, that their investments have long term consequences on the disadvantaged, and that they have an opportunity to die to themselves, that others may live free.
