In the future, we are committed to integrating our loyalty programs, and we intend to draw upon the very best of our programs to enhance our guest experience. Until then, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, Marriott Rewards, and SPG will continue to run separately, with members earning, redeeming, and booking just as they do today.
Let’s take a look at how these programs individually operate today, so we can all become familiar with each program’s structure, benefits and unique features. For now, the message to our members is that the loyalty programs they love will stay the same.
We encourage you all to be open to the journey that lies ahead. While there are a lot of unknowns, there is also a lot of excitement as we come together to create history in the hospitality industry. When Marriott and Starwood join together, we will become the largest hotel company in the world, consisting of 30 brands, with over 1.1 million rooms, in over 5,700 properties, in more than 110 countries. It’s important to remember throughout all of this that we are taking this journey together, working through this transition – through the challenges, milestones, and victories – to create the world’s favorite travel company.
