1. The following ingredients will make about 8 10-inch (25cm) pancakes (more or fewer, depending on the size). You may change the amounts of ingredients according to the number you wish to serve.
2. 2 cups (18oz/510g) self-rising or all-purpose flour (See tips below)
3. 2 or 3 eggs
4. 1 1/2 cups (350ml) of milk
5. 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
6. 2 tablespoons of butter or vegetable oil
7. 5 tablespoons of sugar (optional)
Add a pinch of salt
8. 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional) Add a pinch of salt.
